Powerfest Review: ISSUES
In 2017, Powerfest made its glorious return. After a few years of inactivity the Amsterdam-based indoor festival was back with some of the biggest names in poppunk and post-hardcore. With headliners Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens, Powerfest 2017 was bound to be epic and nothing could have been more true.
Kicking off the main stage was the phenomenal who have been touring relentlessly ever since their album ‘Headspace’ released last year. Known for their great diversity, Issues treated a sold out Melkweg to a very energetic set. Issues’ discography is packed with fan favourites and their set was an extraordinary mix of heavy and soft. Given Issues got the crowd going as well as they did, their return in a headline capacity will be much anticipated, no doubt.
