Swiss singer, hurdy-gurdy player and audio engineer Anna Murphy (ex-Eluveitie, Cellar Darling) has released a new song. It´s called 'Mayday' and here´s what Anna has to say about it:
“This song is about living in the moment and doing stupid stuff. It is inspired by my constant search for chaos and the consequences of it. Musically it features my most authentic approach so far as well as a perfect band consisting of Marco Jencarelli (guitars), Ivo Henzi (bass) and Merlin Sutter (drums).
It is honest, sarcastic and provocative. Or, as always with my music, it is whatever you want it to be. So let’s just enjoy music and have some beers. Cheers! “
'Mayday' will be available as a part of the extended version of Anna´s debut album 'Cellar Darling' (including Tommy Vetterli remix of the song 'Cellar Darling') soon on the digital music service of your choice.
You can catch Anna playing her new song live for the first time together with her live band (Ivo Henzi, Merlin Sutter, Rafi Kirder) in Australia:
26 August 2016: Sydney, Bald Faced Stag
27 August 2016: Melbourne, The Evelyn Hotel
