British band Dream State recently released a cover of Linkin Park's "Crawling," and it is SWEET.
What makes it sweeter is their reason for the cover - the song is part of a larger project from Hopeless Records called Songs That Saved My Life. It's a 12-track compilation album to benefit mental health and suicide prevention organizations.
Linkin Park's "Crawling" is just one of the covers appearing on this awesome project. Besides Dream State, the album will also feature artists like Neck Deep, Taking Back Sunday, The Maine, covering songs from bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Death Cab For Cutie.
The reception so far has been very positive, setting the bar high for the full album:
Songs That Saved My Life comes out on November 9th, and if this cover is any indication, it's gonna be awesome.
