Are you a fan of bands like Paramore or Twenty One Pilots? (Let’s be honest, who isn’t?)
If you just answered that question with a yes, we would sincerely advise you to keep on reading,
because you are going to love today’s masterpiece of a track which is coming at you from Colorado
Springs by an electro-pop/rock band called “Hydrogen Skyline”.
Going by the name “Inhale/Exhale”, the track forms the first single of the band’s upcoming album
“Photovoltaic” which will be released on August 26th and can be considered a rather special album
as it was entirely funded by fans on the band’s Kickstarter who donated enough money to reach
120% of the original goal.
As a highly promising first taste of said album, “Inhale/Exhale” is a song that will get you hooked from
the first second. With its intriguing balance between electro and rock elements, its catchy yet almost
mysterious atmosphere as well as its mesmerizing vocals, it will most certainly find its way into your
head and heart and stay there for quite a while.
Lyrically, the song deals with the struggle of staying calm and true to yourself in a world full of stress
and all kinds of pressure which might just be the reason why “Inhale/Exhale” seems to be the perfect
song to calm down and relax after a long busy day.
So we’d suggest you do just that, but we also have to warn you: you might fall in love and you might
get overly excited for the album to come, but that’s okay!
On that note, feel free to check out “Inhale/Exhale” below.
