Five Finger Death Punch just released a video of the bands new single ‘Wash It All Away’.
The video was shot by music video director Wayne Isham, also involved in the making of the music video’s from Metallica, Pantera, Godsmack, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Avenged Sevenfold.
Wayne filmed the clip at the bands recent headlining show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The clip shows the incredible visual stage performance and the outrageous energy that the band shows and gives towards the fans.
Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory states:
"There is a reason why Wayne Isham is a legendary video director. I think he was the perfect choice to capture the band's live show and the energy that connects us to our fans. That energy is the reason why this band is still getting bigger and bigger. Something is simply infectious about what leads up to and what happens at our shows and we wanted to create a time capsule of that for ourselves and for the fans."
Isham adds: "When I was asked to direct the new Five Finger Death Punch video, I was into it right away. Being a fan of the band made it easy. Being a veteran myself seeing what the band has done for veterans over the years made this a no-brainer for me."
According to Kael, Five Finger Death Punch wanted to take a different approach with the "Wash It All Away" video compared to the clips the band had worked on in the past.
"We've had our fair share of friends of the band that were doing videos and those videos came out great [because of the] different interpersonal connections [we had] with the directors," he explained. "But when you wanna make a statement, Wayne is the dude. He's got the resume. All those great videos… I mean, I remember, whatever it was, junior high or high school, I can't recall at this point, sitting at home, rushing home to see where Mötley Crüe's 'Home Sweet Home' was on the Top 20 countdown they had every day out there. And fast forward fifteen, twenty years later…. Boom! My video."
‘Wash It All Away’ is one of the songs from the new album ‘Got Your Six’, wich sold 119 000 copies in its first week!
This is a new record for the band, their old record was 112 000 copies of ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell’ in 2013.
The previous albums of Five Finger Death Punch surpassed 500 000 copies and got certified as gold in the USA.
Five Finger Death Punch has just completed a U.S. co-headlining tour with Papa Roach and will kick off a European tour on November 2th in Helsinki, Finland.
