Where the girl who got kicked says it wasn't a big deal and there are no hard feelings, other artists in the scene speak about the act. Along with artists, also the Toronto Mod Club (where this all occured) had something to say about the incident:
“On behalf of the venue we are appalled by the actions of the singer and do not condone these actions by anyone. There was no report of injuries and the venue will not allow the band to play the venue again for their actions. I have never imagined and never seen anything like that at the venue in 14 years in operation. That was a very cowardly act.” These are the words from general manager Jorge Dias.
Among others, The Word Alive frontman Telle Smith had the following to say:
