If you made a playlist for the summer or have been to any festivals this year, one band that you have probably stumbled across somewhere along the line is Imagine Dragons. The Las Vegas natives have released their third record "Evolve" back in late June.
One track from that album that instantly made its way onto the live setlist is their third and latest single "Whatever It Takes", which personally I was lucky enough to hear for the very first time as part of a live show.
With the contrast of a fast lyrical pace during the verses (that is bound to take a lot of practice to get right) in midst of a fairly slow song as well as a magnificent overall structure, "Whatever It Takes" is a song that is as catchy as it is beautiful and therefore definitely worth the listen. It carries all the elements that are essential to an Imagine Dragons song, meaning you can almost feel the spirit, hope and determination that went into the song and made it to be so full of life.
For those of you that enjoy having some badass visuals to add to the mix, the band has got you covered, with an absolutely stunning 360 degree lyric video which you can check out here.
Also if you haven’t heard it yet (which we doubt), feel free to stream "Whatever It Takes" below!
