"Tired, blue boy walks my way / Holding a girl's hand / That basic bitch leaves finally / Now I can take her man." Honestly, that's one of the best intros to a song ever, making it today's Track of the Day "Pacify Her" by Melanie Martinez off of her album Cry Baby.
The song off of the album seems to be the part where her character, Cry Baby, has had enough of being filled with pain due to love, and at this point doesn't care about any consequences. This reasoning pretty much explains the intro lyrics mentioned above. Cry Baby knows that the boy has feelings for her and not the girl he's currently with. So what better way to steal a man than to "pacify" the girl in the way? Aka, shut her up.
After all, "was he yours, if he wanted me so bad??"
